Recently, the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance published a list of administrative actions dated May.

These actions stem from OCI’s adjudication where a licensed individual or company has contravened the Wisconsin insurance laws. In certain circumstances, the accused individual or entity opted for a settlement even when they did not admit to the allegations leveled against them.

All penalties that are imposed are channeled into the Common School Fund of Wisconsin which is managed by the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands. The revenue generated from the Fund benefits all public K-12 schools in the state which assists school libraries in purchasing resources like books, newspapers, and computers.
